About Ian Dingwall Painters
Based in Invergordon and operating throughout the north of Scotland, Ian and his team of specialist painters have conducted hundreds of internal and external painting and decorating projects for a wide range of clients, including private residences, public buildings, large estates and well-known local venues and attractions.
The company has grown steadily, thanks in part to a solid reputation built up over a number of years. Clients know they can trust Ian Dingwall and his team to treat every property with the same level of care, professionalism and high attention to detail.
A Long History Of Quality
Ian Dingwall found his start in the painting and decorating in the ’50s when he trained and served an apprenticeship in the trade. After building up his skills in the local area, Ian began working as an independent tradesman, completing painting and decorating projects throughout Scotland. With a keen interest in historic properties, Ian endeavored to master the traditional skills and techniques required to work on the many beautiful period buildings in need of restoration around the Highlands.
A few years later the business began to expand to meet the growing demands of the local area. As the town of Invergordon entered a boom phase, Ian was able to employ his first member of staff. The team quickly grew, and within a short time, the business had expanded to employ over 50 members of staff.
A strong focus on service, quality and those traditional skills that were now being passed on to an increasingly qualified team meant that the business was now the trusted name throughout the north of Scotland, offering the highest standards of residential, commercial and heritage painting and decorating services.
